Love this article especially the rephrasing of adults attitude towards taking a risk. i am going to try and memorise this for future conversations. It’s a great growth mindset promo.
“Those kids are so much better than technology than I am”, why not say, “Those kids are so much more willing to push the buttons and act on their curiosity than I am.

  2. Hey Pal,

One of the things that I’ve always kept in the back of my mind is, “Just because kids don’t need the instruction manual to figure out how to make a new piece of technology WORK doesn’t mean that they know how to make a new piece of technology WORK FOR THEM.”

    That’s where we come in.

It’s our job as folks who understand the actions that good learners take to find ways to help kids use the tools that surround them for something more than just social purposes. That’s our differentiator.

Thanks for the reminder. I needed that.

    Rock on,
    Bill
