We have made a clear effort in Parkland School Division to make what we learn visible to everyone around the world. This belief stems from the idea that we want all children to be successful and if the work that we do can help, whether people use it as it is delivered or modify it, sharing the process is essential. This has been reflected through the constant sharing of PSD70 through hashtags, wikis, and blogs.
“I just wanted to say that although I am not part of PSD70 or the Learning Leader Project your work has had impact beyond your district. I can’t recall how I first ended up on your site but I have been following your blogs and enjoyed seeing what you were learning. Along the way I learned about some new apps and applications myself. Thank you for making your learning visible in such a transparent way. Enjoy your day of sharing!” ~ Lara Jensen
When I read this I thought to myself, “How could we ever do things different again?” If this process helped one teacher, one student, just one person outside of our division, was it not worth it?
