    Many YT ‘instructional’ videos may tell you plenty, but just as listening is not learning, telling is not teaching!

    Consider Derek Muller/Veritasium view of YTs..
    Unless cognitive dissonance is achieved, the viewer learns nothing new, in fact, confirms prior misconceptions..almost negative learning.(knowing ‘wrong’ information’)

    Veritasium focus is on science understanding..which is gained when the learner is active.
    Unfortunately too few YTs make use of the YT feature where they can choose, the next segment of video
    Truly interactive, and requires a contribution from the watcher…active viewing is to be encouraged.(lean forward vowing, rather than lean back)
