I saw this video from David Wees, who passed it on from Karl Fisch, and wanted to share it on my own blog.
Such a short but powerful video. This story brought me to instant tears.
Lots of ideas that could be used for this with students in the classroom, but I just wanted to share it because it is an important message.

I agree George. I thought about just sharing Karl's blog post, but decided that the video would get seen more often if I published it on my blog. Hopefully lots of people see it, because the idea is important.
Great video.
I also Tweeted out this video, and just days later my husband and I lost his father to melanoma. It is important to get this message out because melanoma, while treatable, is also fast-moving and devastating. My father-in-law found out the melanoma had moved to his lungs, came home and passed away within a week. If the people who read your blog can view this, take it seriously, and pass it out, many families will not have to say goodbye to their loved ones too soon.
I am robert fox.
